2009 ECC Baseball Tournament
Central Islip, NY - The Adelphi University Panthers seal the top seed and a first-round bye in the East Coast Conference Baseball Tournament, finishing up with a 17-7 record in conference play. The Molloy College Lions claim the No. 2 seed with a 16-8 conference record and will also receive a bye.
Play will begin on Wednesday, May 6 when No. 3 St. Thomas Aquinas takes on No. 6 Bridgeport and No. 4 Dowling plays host to No. 5 Concordia in the first round play-in games.
The four team double elimination tournament begins at Lions Field on Friday, May 8 at 12:00 p.m. when Molloy faces the winner of the St. Thomas Aquinas/Bridgeport game. Adelphi will take on the winner of the Dowling/Concordia game at 3:00 p.m. that day.
