BROOKVILLE, N.Y. - C.W. Post's American Marketing Association, Pre-Law Association, Alpha Xi Delta, and the ACP hosted a walk supporting Shape Up America on Dec. 9.

The Shape Up America Campaign is a nation-wide initiative seeking to educate America's parents on improving their children's nutrition and teaching families to encourage each other to get fit through more active lifestyles.  

Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representative Aimee Capps of the women's lacrosse team helped organize the event with the other clubs and got more than 50 student-athletes, including other SAAC representatives, to support campus communities and help spread awareness of the dangers of obesity and to promote healthier, more active lifestyles.  The campaign helped raise over $250. The Pioneers are excited to do this event every year and make it spread it through their community.
