Rochester, N.Y. - Sophomores Keenan Loder of Molloy and Emily Miller of Roberts Wesleyan were honored as the East Coast Conference Elite 18 Award winners for their respective gender at the East Coast Conference Basketball Awards Banquet on Friday evening. The ECC Elite 18 honor is awarded to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade point average competing in each of the ECC's 18 championships.
Loder is a sophomore Childhood Education-Math major with a GPA of 3.92. Loder saw action in 15 games as a reserve for the Lions. He shot 33.3 percent from the field and 50.0 percent from three point range.
Miller is a sophomore Marketing major with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Also an All-Conference Second Team selection, Miller helped the Redhawks advance to the semifinals of the ECC Championship with averages of 14.5 points per game and 9.0 rebounds per game.
