STAC vs. Queens Matchup to be Featured on NCAA Division II Basketball Showcase

Indianapolis - The NCAA announced on Thursday afternoon that the St. Thomas Aquinas at Queens basketball doubleheader on January 24 will stream on ESPN3 and the ESPN app as part of the NCAA Division II Basketball Showcase.

Both matchups will feature the reigning NCAA Divison II East Region Champions as the St. Thomas Aquinas men and Queens women both accomplished the feat in 2017. The St. Thomas Aquinas men are two-time defending ECC Champions with the bulk of their roster back from a year ago including All-American and two-time ECC Player of the Year, Justin Reyes.  The Queens men are coming off a season in which they made their first ECC Championship appearance since 2014.

On the women's side, Queens has won two of the past three ECC Championships and were Regular Season Champions a year ago, while the St. Thomas Aquinas women's team finished 19-11 and earned a spot in the ECC Championship semifinals a year ago.
