BALTIMORE (Feb. 1, 2008) – C.W. Post women’s lacrosse senior midfielder Mallory Poole (Corning, N.Y.) will travel with the U.S. Lacrosse team to the Czech Republic in June 2008 to represent the United States in the Prague Cup.

Overall, 18 players and six alternates were selected by U.S. Elite Team head coach Sue Heether.

Poole, who has been playing with the U.S. Developmental Team this year, is the only non-division I player to be selected.

The Prague Cup, which runs from June 25-28, will include five other nations – Czech Republic, England, Germany, Scotland and Wales.

C.W. Post will open its season on Feb. 23 at Siena College and will host its first home game against Mercyhurst on March 14 at 3 p.m.
